This 2026 Samsung 65" 4K OLED TV is a good fit for family lounge rooms. It has self-lit pixels for deep blacks, HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos support for movies and streaming, and four HDMI 2.1 inputs with VRR up to 4K at 120Hz with a compatible PC for gaming.

OLED picture

This TV has self-lit pixels that can switch off fully, which means deep blacks next to bright highlights.

This TV has the NQ4 AI Gen2 processor with 20 AI neural networks, which analyses each scene to lift brightness, and it supports HDR10+ content. Auto HDR Remastering means standard content gets an HDR-like look, and 4K AI Upscaling means lower-resolution sources are lifted towards 4K. Results vary by source, and processing may not apply in Game Mode.

Sport

This TV has AI Soccer Mode, which means picture and sound are adjusted for soccer to bring out player detail and commentary. It is designed for soccer only, and results vary by source and app.

Gaming and connections

This TV has a 100Hz native panel and Motion Xcelerator 120Hz, which means it supports variable refresh rate up to 4K at 120Hz with a compatible gaming PC.

This TV supports AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, which means less screen tearing in games. Both need a compatible graphics card, with VRR turned on in the TV and GPU settings. It also supports Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), which means it switches to a lower-lag mode with compatible consoles.

This TV has four HDMI 2.1 inputs, which means a console, a gaming PC and a soundbar can all stay plugged in. It also has eARC, HDMI-CEC, two USB ports, Ethernet and an optical audio output.

Sound

This TV has 2-channel speakers that support Dolby Atmos, which means Atmos-encoded content can play through the built-in speakers.

This TV has AI Sound Controller, which splits audio into voice and sound effects. This means you can turn dialogue up or background noise down. Active Voice Amplifier Pro helps keep dialogue clear, and eARC means you can pass audio to a compatible soundbar.

Smart TV and apps

This TV runs One UI Tizen, which means Netflix, Disney+ and YouTube are together in one place, with a web browser, voice control and Amazon Alexa built in. Samsung Vision AI Companion answers questions on screen.

This TV has the Samsung Gaming Hub, which means you can play cloud games, such as Xbox Game Pass, with a compatible controller. Netflix, Disney+ and cloud gaming services require an additional subscription and internet connection at additional cost.

This TV has AirPlay 2 and SmartThings, which means you can share from Apple devices and control compatible devices. It connects over Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Tizen OS upgrades are provided for seven years from the 2025 release year. A Samsung account is required.
