The Samsung 75" The Frame QLED 4K TV is a good fit if you want a big TV that looks like framed art on the wall and still handles gaming. It has Art Mode with a motion sensor, a screen verified Glare Free by UL Solutions and a 100Hz panel with variable refresh rate.

Art Mode and design

This TV is designed to sit flush to the wall, with a built-in connection solution, which means a tidier setup. The built-in connection solution is designed for dry walls such as plasterboard, requires drilling holes in the wall and is not compatible with Wireless One Connect.

This TV has Art Mode with access to the Samsung Art Store collection of more than 5,000 artworks, which means the screen can show art when you're not watching. Some art is complimentary, and more is available by subscription.

This TV has a motion sensor, which means the art can switch on when you walk into the room and off when you leave, to help save energy. It only works in Art Mode after you turn it on in settings, and its performance can vary with lighting.

Picture

This TV has a 4K QLED panel with an edge-lit backlight and supports HDR10+. It is PANTONE Validated for 2,140 PANTONE colours and 110 skin tone shades.

This TV has Glare Free technology, which means lamps and windows show up less on the screen in bright indoor lighting. It also has AI upscaling, which means lower-resolution content is brought up to 4K. Results depend on the source, and upscaling may not apply to PC connections or Game Mode.

Gaming and connections

This TV has a native 100Hz refresh rate and supports VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium, which means less tearing and stutter when you're gaming on a compatible console or PC.

This TV has four HDMI 2.1 inputs, which means you can plug in a console, a gaming PC and a soundbar without swapping cables. It also has eARC, optical audio out, two USB ports, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

Sound

This TV has built-in 2-channel speakers that support Dolby Atmos when you play Atmos-enabled content. It has Active Voice Amplifier Pro, which means dialogue is designed to stay clear over background noise. Adaptive Sound Pro adjusts sound to the room and content, with results varying by room and installation.

Smart TV and apps

This TV runs Samsung's Tizen platform, which means Netflix, Disney+ and YouTube are built in. Netflix, Disney+ and additional Samsung Art Store artworks require an additional subscription and internet connection at additional cost.

This TV has Amazon Alexa and Bixby built in, which means you can control it with your voice. Both need an internet connection and a Samsung account. It supports Apple AirPlay 2 and SmartThings, and the HD tuner covers free-to-air TV.
