The Sky-Watcher Counterweight Kit for Wave 100i and 150i mounts supplies everything needed to balance heavier payloads: a 5 kg stainless-steel counterweight, a 20 mm diameter counterweight bar (31.4 cm), and a 16.4 cm extension bar. The counterweight bar itself weighs 720 g and the extension weighs 350 g. The 5 kg weight has an outer diameter of 100 mm and length of 8.5 cm, allowing compact, secure balancing. This kit is essential when your payload exceeds 10 kg on the Wave 100i or 15 kg on the Wave 150i, ensuring stable, vibration-free tracking and safe operation with heavier setups.
