Overview

The Sky-Watcher Equatorial Mod Kit for AZ-GTi is designed to enhance the versatility and performance of the MINI AZ-GTi mount by enabling dual Alt-Azimuth and Equatorial (AZ/EQ) mode operation through updated firmware. This allows users to track celestial objects more accurately, making it suitable for astrophotography or precise observation. The kit includes a Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer white wedge, which provides a stable equatorial platform for the mount, an EQ1/EQ2 counterweight shaft, and a 2.2 kg counterweight to balance the telescope or camera payload. With this mod kit, users can enjoy smoother motion, improved alignment, and more reliable tracking during stargazing sessions.
