Introducing the Tamiya 1/48 British 2-ton Austin K2 4x2 Ambulance Plastic Model Kit. This 1/48 scale kit faithfully recreates the British 2-Ton 4x2 Ambulance (Austin K2/Y) with immense attention to detail. The Austin K2/Y served as an ambulance during World War II — a 2-ton, 4x2 truck with 4 wheels, 2 of which are driven. A total of 13,102 Austin K2/Y ambulances were built at the company's Longbridge plant almost continuously from 1940 until the war ended. Roughly 50 remain today. One drive figure is included, along with 2 marking options featuring red cross decals for the roof, body sides and rear door.
