This 85-inch TCL P7LS 4K QLED Google TV suits everyday viewing on a big screen, from free-to-air TV to streaming. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos, and has built-in recording with FreeviewPlus.

QLED picture

This TV has quantum dot (QLED) colour with a back-lit LED panel. Its HVA 2.0 Ultra Panel is designed for good native contrast and wide viewing angles. This means detail stays clear from different seating positions in the room.

This TV has TCL's AiPQ Processor, which adjusts picture settings for you, and 4K upscaling, which means lower-resolution sources are improved to fill the 4K screen. Results depend on the source.

Motion and gaming

This TV has a native 60Hz panel with MEMC motion processing, which means movement is smoothed out in sport and action scenes. Sports, Game and PC picture modes are included, which means it suits TV, movies and casual gaming.

This TV has four HDMI inputs, all listed as HDMI 2.1, which means you can connect devices such as a set-top box, a console and a soundbar at the same time, with a spare input.

Movies and sound

This TV supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG, which means movies and shows made in these formats have more detail in the bright and dark parts of the picture. It also has FILMMAKER MODE and a 24fps movie mode for film nights.

This TV has a 2 × 10W + 20W speaker system with Dolby Atmos and DTS support. It has sound modes such as Speech and Night, which means you can make voices clearer or keep the volume down late at night. It also has HDMI eARC and an optical output, which means it's easy to add a soundbar.

Google TV and apps

This TV runs Google TV with Gemini, which means apps including Netflix, Stan, Disney+, Binge, Kayo, Foxtel Now, Paramount+ and Amazon Prime are all in one place. Netflix, Stan, Disney+, Binge, Kayo, Foxtel Now, Paramount+ and Amazon Prime require an additional subscription and internet connection at additional cost.

This TV has an HD tuner with FreeviewPlus, and you can record and pause live TV to an external USB drive, which means you can watch free-to-air shows on your own schedule.

This TV has Google Assistant voice control through the remote, which means you can search and control it with your voice. Chromecast built-in and Apple AirPlay 2 let you share from your phone. Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, Ethernet and two USB ports are included.
