Joseph Turner - alias "Condor" - is an employee of an insignificant New York office of the CIA. Or so it seems - until the day he finds his colleagues murdered in cold blood in the office. Terrified, Turner turns to headquarters for help. But it quickly becomes clear that Condor has to act on his own if he wants to get away with his life. Sydney Pollack's intelligent and highly suspenseful political thriller is one of the classics of paranoia cinema of the 1970s. With his critical look at the dubious morals of the secret services, it still looks brand-new even 45 years after its release and is now appearing for the first time in 4K.
