Brewing Up with Billy Bragg is the second album by Billy Bragg, originally released in 1984.

This long overdue vinyl reissue comes in a gatefold sleeve and was remastered by John Webber at Air Studios using high-resolution transfers made from master tapes in Billy's archives.

Following the DIY punk minimalism of his debut album ‘Life’s A Riot (With Spy vs Spy)’ (’83), Brewing Up with Billy Bragg has a similar sonic palette. Opening with an attack on the tabloid press in ‘It Says Here’, and closing with some soulful Hammond organ on ‘A Lover Sings’ via some beautiful trumpet on ‘The Saturday Boy’., ‘Brewing Up…’ was produced by Edward De Bono and made Top 10 in NME’s 1984 albums of the year."
