Fall Of Planet Esoteria (Vinyl)

Five films, eight albums of original music, and a series of band line-ups later, Kidman's vision has expanded into a widescreen panorama called The Windy Hills, a five-piece band including Jay Kruegner, Paul Brewer, Martin ‘Jose' Jones and DB Porter.
Since solidifying five years ago around the concept of performing live soundtracks choreographed to Kidman's film footage, The Windy Hills have toured the US, selling out their show at the New York Surf Film Festival; performed at Splendour In The Grass, the Perth International Arts Festival, Mullum Music Festival, and Apollo Bay Music Festival.
They've spent the past two years writing and recording a follow up to their previous release, Friend From Another Star, in their home studio in the hills behind Byron Bay, resulting in Fall Of Planet Esoteria. The album features ten new original compositions that traverse the post
punk/country/psychedelic/folk landscape for sonic inspiration, whilst lyrically confronting the terror and beauty of life in the early 21st century.
At the same time, Kidman has been busy directing the official sequel to iconic 1972 surf film, Morning Of The Earth. Titled Spirit Of Akasha, its breathtaking vision is accompanied by a momentous soundtrack including contributions from Brian Wilson, Dirty Three, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Atoms For Peace, Grouplove, Xavier Rudd, Andrew VanWyngarden, The Windy Hills and more.
