All In the Blood
Tired of speakers looking like scent diffusers? DENTON 85 represents one of the most iconic models in Wharfedale’s long history. By tapping into its historic bloodline, today’s DENTON perfectly reflects your classic tastes.

Denton Delivers You More
DENTON 85 features 25mm soft dome tweeters and 165mm woven Kevlar bass drivers. Combined with an increased cabinet size, all-new DENTON delivers you improved high frequency extension with a more open, detailed performance.

Size Matters
Modern slim speakers suffer from an audible thinning known as baffle step. Not big box speakers. So Wharfedale increased both DENTON 85’s baffle width and mid/bass driver size to give your music the impact it’s missing.

Audio cookup – grille on!
Asymmetrical speaker grille cutouts mitigate interference caused by cabinet-edge reflections found in traditional big-box speakers. So DENTON’s speaker grilles not only help maintain a low visual profile, they further improve your sound quality too.

Amp Matching Magic
Specific design elements, like woven Kevlar drivers and high-flux magnets, were chosen to ensure DENTON 85 sings with amplifiers as small as 20W per channel. Put plainly, DENTON 85 will run off the sniff of an oily rag.
