Rated 5 out of 5 by from All the good things... I bought this a week ago after making a few other purchases of other BT headsets. The Skullcandy is impressive: The collar is light and comfortable, obviously allowing more battery life and lighter, more comfortable buds. I wear it at work (driving) and it works nicely for phone calls, plus the collar hides under the shirt. The wires are thin and flexible, allowing movement of head - even looking back when riding a bike - while the buds stay on "untugged" by the head turns. The sound quality is good, with plenty of bass. I thought the "dual lock technology" was a bit of marketing gimmick but the buds actually sit very nicely. Best BT earbuds I've ever experienced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great choice I bought these earbuds on the basis of reviews posted here, and have no regrets. I bought them a month ago as my first ever wireless earbuds and now can't understand why I waited so long to become a wireless runner. On my first run I was a bit concerned because the right bud kept falling out and I had to run with my hand to my ear for half the time, then got sick of it and finished the run mono. When I had a good look, I realised I simply hadn't let enough wire out of the collar on that side. Ever since then, they have been perfect. I've only had to recharge a couple of times over the month. As others have said, the bass is a bit ordinary, but I quickly got used to it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for running or at the gym. I needed a new set of Bluetooth headphones for the gym, but was conscious that my last set always fell out my ears when I got too sweaty, or from the impact of my feet on the ground when running (this is how I lost my Plantronics Backbeat GO 2, they fell out and got trodden on). After a heap of reading, I decided that a set with a neck band or that looped over the ears and around the back of the head would be best, they have the better battery life, and I figured their design would mean that less weight is being put onto the earbuds and less chance they would fall out my ears. Before the Plantronics I was usually always getting Sennhieser CX 300ii because I know that their buds sit really tight and flush with my ears which make it comfortable if I'm taking a hoodie off etc. so I also needed something that would not protrude past my ears (this may sound stupid, but those who know what I mean from wearing other in-ears will understand). But alas, Sennhieser do not do bluetooth sports in-ear headphones in my price range and the Plantronics can't be trusted. Anyway, I must say I'm pretty happy with these Skullcandy Method Wireless, these are my first ever Skullcandy. They are nice and light, with double the battery life of my last in ear bluetooth. The ear buds sit really snug in my ears and do not move around at all when running or at the gym and the neckband doesn't bounce around at all either. The earbuds sit within the profile of my ear and don't protrude at all, i.e. I can take my hoodie off without knocking them out, and can fall asleep and don't feel too uncomfortable with them in. The setup to link to my phone took all of 5 seconds once I had a quick look at the instruction leaflet. Call quality is pretty decent too, but the mic is prone to wind noise. I got the rainbow ones because they reminded me of rainbow paddle pop icecreams... also love is love and all that jazz. Meh, whatever. Lets just say they looked the coolest ok? My only "I wish they were better because" comments are that; First, I've had to set a custom EQ on my Samsung S7, other phones may be different, but on mine, there is almost ZERO treble through this headset, so I had to set the treble to be all the way up to 10dB in the 8k-16k frequencies. The mids in the 1k-3k are at about 6dB, the 60hz to 400hz I have between 0dB and 4dB. I then used the Samsung Adapt Sound function to do more fine tuning. The second issue, which isn't that big a deal is that they are REALLY good at isolating sound. I would NOT recommend using these while riding or running amongst traffic. When music is playing it is impossible to hear any ambient noise around you. The final comment is that some times the audio clicks, like there is a split second where sound will drop out. I've only noticed it when my phone battery is running really low though, so it might be the bluetooth dropping out on the phone end rather than the headset? More investigation is needed. So that is my review. I'd strongly recommend these to anyone doing any vigorous exercise where you do not want the headset falling out your ears, also to anyone who may travel a lot on aircraft and want to block ambient noise and still be able to rest their head and not get uncomfortable from the ear buds sticking out past their ears etc. Happy Days! I hope this was helpful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Sound, Great Battery, Not good with wind/run Really happy with the device although, it wasn't very good for running. The earbuds don't block the airflow so when running or out in the wind its hard to hear the music clearly over the wind noise. If wind isn't an issue, these are great sounding Bluetooth headphones with a great battery life (Lasts me a full day at work - over 8 hours). Was also very easy to setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sound even inside a Motorcycle Helmet I just bought this product as an inexpensive way of providing a simple hands / wireless free means of communications and music through my IPod whilst riding my Motorcycle. It does not get in the way of Helmet fit and works way better than I anticipated. The 'Collar' connectivity control is simple with no fuss.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Bang for the Bucks I was looking for a good set of earphones (wireless preferably) to be used while at the gym and also when I am in university. This purchase is arguably one of the best I have ever made. I usually charge it at night before bed for around 1-2 hours and I used it the next day in uni from morning until evening and then at the gym at night. The bass is one of the best features of this earphone and it makes the songs better to listen to while working out. I feel like I am in my own world while at gym. The band sits comfortably around my neck and because I can feel it, I feel safe that its there knowing that it won't fall off that easily. Since the wires to the earpieces are attached to the band, they have never come off in my case and the earpieces are definitely comfortable. Setting up takes literally 1-2 minutes. It goes like this; wear the earphones > turn on bluetooth on your phone > hold the power button (don't let go!!!) on the earphones until you hear it saying ( "Power On" and then "Pairing") > It connects to your phone and says "Connected". That's it, it's good to go. To turn it off, just hold the power button until it says "Power Off". Conclusion: Easy setup, Attractive Price, Comfortable, and GOOD SOUND QUALITY.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great indoor sports earbuds Likes - Excellent Battery Life. Excellent Sound Indoors. Freedom from being wired to a phone is so underestimated in these reviews. Great in the gym. Great sound for Calls. Works with Siri (Be patient). One Earbud fitting took two weeks to get right (Be patient). Dislikes - Sound completely muffled with the smallest amount of wind on the bicycle. Fiddly power connection. Poor documentation relating to recharging in the manual and on the Skullcandy website for people new to Bluetooth - your iPhone has a battery indicator for the headset!! For my next earbuds I will look for a wind proof earbuds, but I don’t know if that is even possible. I don’t like over-ear headsets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can’t fault them I bought these headphones about 4 months ago, and I am very happy. Battery life seems to be never ending, running every morning and using the headphones for on average an hour a day, didn’t need to recharge for two weeks. The neck band is different, but unnoticeable for me when running. The ear buds actually stay in my ears for the whole run too. Sweat doesn’t make them loose and the need for constant adjusting doesn’t happen. Sound quality is good, as good as you can expect from an in-ear bud, but on the better side than cheapo ones.
