Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great All Round Microphone! A+ This is a great budget friendly mic. I brought it to use when i stream my game play to It is not the loudest i have used but this is easily fixed with a booster program or by raising the db in OBS. Great product, Great Price. Plug and play with a USB end, no other programs needed (unless you need a sound boost) Would and have recommended this to anyone wanting a great sounding mic at a budget price. A++ In my books

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth The Price Bought this few days ago to record some singing for my youtube. Sound quality is good and the fact that it comes with a windsock, it does a bit of filtering of unwanted noises. It is light and easy to be placed anywhere. It has cable that connects straight to the laptop which makes everything easier. All i have to do is just sing and record. Worth for the money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average mic, Wouldn't pay the full listed price. Ok, so I have used this mic for just over 18 months. It is initially very quiet when you first start recording. I am not sure if I have just gotten used to the volume of the mic or if it has actually gotten louder over time. Now, I wouldn't pay the full listed price for a couple reasons. The amount of noise (hissing and buzzing) is similar to that of a cheaply made Chinese XLR microphone that is rebranded by many to be sold at varying prices which for the same price of this listed mic and similar noise floor you get a full studio kit (Boom arm, cable, power supply, pop filter and shock mount.). So, why would I prefer this over the cheaply made mics? For me, it is much warmer sounding, which I need as I have a higher than normal voice. Plus it is USB which makes it portable, (I move my recording station around a lot). To reduce the noise the mic makes I would suggest getting an isolator of some sort and using your preferred audio editing software to apply a noise removal filter. If you want quality and a more quiet mic (regarding noise) while in your local jb store ask about the gear you would need for a RODE NT-1a or RODE NT1 microphone. The RODE NT1 is if you have a higher pitched voice as it does not boost higher frequencies as much as the NT-1a does.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value for price! So My dad bought me this microphone a year ago and I still use it currently. I've recorded audio for YouTube and I have recorded many raps with this microphone. JBHIFI put the price down a little bit which was good as well! I highly recommend this product because it has good quality audio!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it's enough for now i bought this lets say 3 weeks ago it exceeds my expectations and more whilst also having annoying accessories i use it for voice over and funny parody of ads and well the stand is bad and absorbs everything but at least it comes with one (talking to you rode and some blue mics who only include a shock mount seriously) but the mic is great recommended for beginning and is a mic you will upgrade from its good if you want to go from USB to xlr but want to see if it all works out before putting loads of money in it its perfect yes i recomend

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but Quiet I looked at reviews and unboxings which had praised this mic so I went to buy it. Got it, opened it up, sock was squished and when I plugged the Mic in was extremely quiet. Tested it with various machines and all of them had the microphone being extremely quiet at 50% system wide volume (which means I would accidently blast myself with system sounds) and full of white noise at 70%. I went back and they replaced it. New one is marginally better. Overall, the quality is all right but good for the price. Not the best but still good.
