Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brilliant, Sadly Short Campaign I bought this game only days after its release and was instantly hooked. It's a really original concept and is greatly executed. The inclusion of the TV show only made the storyline more engaging. I can only fault the length of the campaign, which I managed to finish in 10 hours when it felt like much less. Hopefully there will be a Quantam Break 2 with extended campaign and maybe even multiplayer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Game 'm writing this with a heavy heart. I'm a huge Remedy fan. Max Payne 1 and 2 are some of my favorite games of all time. I still remember upgrading my first PC to play Max Payne 2 on high settings. Unfortunately, Quantum Break is easily the worst game Remedy has ever developed. First off, the shooting and time manipulation mechanics in Quantum Break are surprisingly boring. All of those great exaggerated physics seen in Max Payne 2 were replaced with scripted death animations. You're forced to use a sloppy auto-cover mechanics. The time manipulation mechanics (Briefly freeze time in a small an area, bubble shield, dash, and Assassin's Creed esque vision mode) are less satisfying than Max Payne's bullet time in 2001. The narrative is very campy and short. It lacks the self awareness of Twin Peaks and Alan Wake. Do not buy. Do not rent. Avoid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice storyline, interesting design I wasn't sure about this game when I first bought it. I liked it used real actors, and some video clips where real video clips. The story dragged through the middle. Too much of the chapters were in the same spot

Rated 5 out of 5 by from remedy masterpiece A truly remarkable experience from the get go. Remedy knows a thing or two about story telling, if you ever played Alan Wake there are some nice little easter eggs hidden about in the game. The action is fast and fluid using all the abilities of time is a blast and the decisions you make effect the tv show you get to watch between acts. A must have, I couldn't stop playing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another good game from developer Remedy The new game from Remedy is a fast paced time manipulation shooter. With a quite clever and surprisingly not messy time travel story. Taking me roughly 12 hours to finish collecting most of the collectables. The collectables are fantastic in this game similar to Alan Wake you can find extra hidden bits of story in this plethera of collectables. Still want to go back and play through getting the rest of the collectables and seeing how different decisions can change how the story played out. Just know that this game has a live action tv component to it at the end of each act. They last about 20 mins each and they are hit and miss. The gameplay is fantastic a very fun entertaining shooter if you enjoyed Remedy's previous game Max Payne you will enjoy this. A few bugs very rarely and there is a few game mechanics that don't make sense but that is easily overlooked when you are really getting into the game.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bang Bang Time Travel This is an incredibly story driven game. Unfortunately the story wasn't really strong enough to make me care about the characters or what was happening. Gameplay's solid enough and Time travel's cool though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time Travel I bought this three weeks ago and I really enjoyed the game, because of the game and live action series. You can play the game and watch progress.
