Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice legs, shame about the head I bought this a couple of days ago when I discovered I left my tripod 500km away and was about to head out of the door to do some photography at Vivid. The tripod legs and setting up are what you would expect in a $70 tripod and as long as you are aware the bottom section legs are very thin, it does the job. Super light and reasonably compact, this has a lot going for it. Shame about the head. The round quick release plate is fine in principle but the single knurled screw to fasten it with no other locating lugs etc. is a disaster. You simply cannot tighten it enough to remove the float that remains. The quick release plate simply does not do its job. The end result is any camera attached to the head wobbles like jelly on springs. Fortunately, the head is a simple 1/4 screw fix and it easy enough to replace but that then puts this into a price category where there are better options.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money I was looking for a tripod to take overseas - really wanted the Manfrotto BeFree (thought it was too heavy at 1.4kg) so got this one instead (800g). Big mistake... Tried my Nikon D3400 on it at home and it wobbled around just like previous reviewer mentioned - didn't matter how much I tightened the screw. Save your money and spend more to get a long term tripod you can use at home afterwards.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Try a different one Just bought this from JB, while the legs are awesome. The quick release mount doesn't attach properly to the tripod, so it ends up all wobbly no matter how tight you screw it. No idea how this thing made it into production.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nearly broke my camera!! Took it home and fastened my camera to it, but the plate fell out of the quick-release even though I'd tightened it as much as I could, and dropped to the ground!! Incredibly lucky, it was fine. I'm taking this back tomorrow. Awful product. JB should stop selling these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Such a shame Fantastic for ease of use however, the head is a fail. You can't screw it tight enough to stop the camera from floating. Then the camera attachment always falls off whilst not in use. Resulting in you losing the camera attachment.
