The best part? As Australia’s leading retailer of health and fitness wearables, JB has a massive Apple Watch range ready to go.

What is the latest Apple Watch model?

The latest Apple Watch releases are the Watch Series 12 and the Watch Ultra 4 from the rugged Apple Watch Ultra range. Both bring Apple’s sharpest health tracking, GPS-mapped workouts and the smarts to run your whole day from your wrist.

  • The Apple Watch Series 12 is the everyday flagship, with all-day health tracking, tap-and-go Apple Pay, calls and texts on your wrist, plus a bright display you can read mid-run.
  • The Apple Watch Ultra 4 is built like a beast for the trails, dives and marathons. Think aerospace-grade titanium case, serious water resistance, pinpoint GPS and battery for the long haul.

Which Apple Watch is the best?

The best Apple Watch is the one that matches how you move, so it pays to know what to look for. JB’s range is stacked with options across every design, size and budget, and the models that rise to the top nail these:

Are Apple Watches Worth It?

Definitely. The sheer number of features and quality tech packed into every Apple Watch makes getting one an easy yes, especially when it comes to health tracking. You get advanced sensors and smart insights to help you stay on top of things, day or night. It monitors:

  • Blood oxygen levels
  • Heart rate
  • Sleep
  • Breathing patterns
  • Calories burned
  • And heaps more!

Worried the price tag won’t stack up? That’s where the Apple Watch SE range comes in. It brings the core health tracking, notifications and everyday smarts that make Apple Watch worth it, all at the most wallet-friendly entry point in the lineup.

How Do Apple Watches Monitor Sleep?

Your Apple Watch tracks sleep using built-in sensors to measure movement, heart rate, and skin temperature, then breaks it all down into sleep stages like REM, core and deep sleep. You’ll wake up to clear, easy-to-read insights about how long you slept, how well you slept, and what your body was up to overnight.

It’s all done automatically, and on the latest models, it’s even more precise. So you’re not just guessing how last night went. You’ve got the data to back it up.

How To Pair An Apple Watch

As long as your phone or tablet is nearby and Airplane Mode is off, pairing your Apple Watch is a piece of cake. Here’s how:

  • Turn on your Apple Watch and bring it close to your iPhone.
  • Open the Watch app and tap “Start Pairing”.
  • Choose to set up as new or restore from backup.
  • Sign in with your Apple ID if needed.
  • Set wrist preferences and app layout.

While the Apple Watch works with any iPhone, it’s best paired with an iPhone running the latest iOS.

Does Apple Watch work with Android?

No. Android phones and Apple Watches use different operating systems, so they won’t talk to each other. But there are plenty of Apple products your Apple Watch will talk to.

Are Apple Watches waterproof?

Apple Watches are water-resistant, not waterproof. That means you can wear them in the rain, the shower, or during a sweaty workout without stressing. Most models, including the latest releases, are swimproof too, so a few laps in the pool won’t be a problem.

If you’re rocking the Apple Watch Ultra 2, you’ve got extra water resistance built in for high-impact water sports and dives up to 40 metres.

*Battery life varies by use and configuration; see apple.com/au/batteries for more information.

*Apple Watch Ultra 2 has a water resistance rating of 100 metres under ISO standard 22810. It may be used for recreational scuba diving (with a compatible third-party app from the App Store) to 40 metres and high-speed water sports. Apple Watch Ultra 2 should not be used for diving below 40 metres. Water resistance is not a permanent condition and can diminish over time. For additional information, see support.apple.com/au/HT205000.

*Emergency SOS requires a mobile network connection or Wi-Fi calling with an internet connection from your Apple Watch or a nearby iPhone.
