Rated 4 out of 5 by from Descent product for a descent price. Have used it for nearly 1 year for my NBN connection. Speed and performance pretty descent. Have 8 devices connected, 3 wired and 5 wireless, and no problems so far. Setup instructions for NBN are not included, so that's a bit poor. But with assistance of the NBN provider (Mate) it was altogether a piece of cake.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well but not intuitive to set-up I am in an apartment that uses NBN Fibre to the Building (FTTB) with copper to each apartment (this is important because I have read that some modems don’t support FTTB). The apartment is only 2.5 bedrooms, and I have less than 8 devices connected to the router. I wanted to replace the supplied Telstra modem because it was failing, and the JB HiFi networking specialist recommended this modem/router for me. Setup was painful, mainly because it took time to find the right documentation. But eventually I did find the correct documentation on how to connect to NBN FTTB, and once I had that the connection was straight-forward. Likewise, the documentation on using WPS was not clear, but once on I had that it was simple to reconnect the devices around the apartment to the router (WPS only works on the 2.4Ghz band). So once I got through the configuration and reconnecting the devices, the modem router works very well. The 5Ghz band works well for my laptop which is next to the modem, and the 2.4Ghz is reliable and works well throughout the apartment. But configuration was not intuitive, and you do need to be semi-techy to set this up, and be prepared to search for the right documentation (which is all there, but not easily found, and in a couple of places is contradictory). If you can cope with that I would recommend this modem/router

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't buy I have been using this modem router for over a year and working fine until I recently subscribed to Stan about a month ago. Constant buffering (2.4 or 5GHz channel) and router is about 6m from TV. Netflix is fine but not Stan. I switched to my old Linksys WRT54G router upstairs (approx 18m with medium signal) and no problems watching Stan whatsoever. I've done plenty of testing and this D-Link router is the problem (although signal is strong). I'll be buying a different router soon and I'll stick to one with antennas.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would not recommend Bought this about a year ago. Of course it is hard to tell with technology what is causing the problem but it constantly drops out and needs restarting to work again. And we've had issues using it with a personal media server (i.e. playing movies, it will constantly freeze).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy Had this for just over a year and it has now stopped working altogether. Experienced constant drop outs and constant buffering. Going to upgrade to something better now this has died 14 months after purchase

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor router I bought this about a year ago, similar to the other users comments...it constantly drops about and the 2.4ghz channel is so unreliable I can't use it. Some devices are able to connect and others intermittently connect, I've tested various devices and can only conclude the router is the problem. Reading the other reviews has helped confirm this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Most useless brand garbage ever bought Have had this router for about a year, and have only experienced problems on problems. Live in a extremely technically literate household who also tell me this router is prone to resets, memory problems and other issues which will force you to factory reset this device on a daily basis. Have returned two of these which were beyond useless and the third was barely functional.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product I've had this modem/router for a few months now and have had nothing but issues with constant drop outs with both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. Contacted manufacturer and was told to change the channel setting but still dropping out at least every 30 minutes. Not good enough...
