Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great laugh The Librarians is a quirky Australian show, that is full of great laughs ! The humour is very complex (ie not "slap stick"), but it does also touch on contemporary issues as well. Great acting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from well worth not returning the Librarians is a brilliant hyperactive then deadpan then surreal series detailing the life and travails of the Middleton library, run by a motley crew of misfits, lead by the neurotically constrained Francis. We glimpse the train wreck of her personal life and foibles (frustrated husband, never seen barbarian kids, tired priestly confessor), and it all merges in a continuous comedy of social mores.
