Rated 4 out of 5 by from Complete speaker Have had this now for 3 months. Good sound and easy to use. The clock is more handy than you would expect. Hand jesters don't work and are a waste of time. All up great speaker for the price works well and I'd buy another one

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome sound I bought this for my wife birthday 5 months ago. Let me say this speaker has awesome sound quality and ample volume for its size. The digital clock is very handy as it is in the bedroom and it was very simple to connect to the wifi. We have since connected it to our Spotify and you can play whatever you want. Very happy with this speaker and our son loves asking Google questions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! I use this smart speaker as a bedside clock and highly recommend it. It sounds pretty good and looks a lot better than having a clock radio on your bedside table. It easily fills the room with quality sound. Google Assistant responds well and am looking forward to using it more. Still a bit of a novelty at the moment. Love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Smart Speaker Love it! Easy to set up, and the sound is great. The clock feature is very handy. Hand gestures are not easy to do, and don’t work most of the time. But I just tell Google Assistant to turn the volume up or down, which is much easier anyway. Overall, I love this smart speaker and have now purchased Smart light bulbs for the lounge room and bedroom, which are also able to be controlled through this speaker. Very happy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from love it! I was looking for a BT speaker and came across this ... its made life good. Just the convenience is what i like. It was a bit difficult to set up and i find the volume is not as loud as what it seemed in the store. Recommended more for a bedroom or small room.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice small speaker Bought this a month ago, sound is not bad for the price (bought on sale). Wifi connectivity is not up to the tasks at times. Not iPhones friendly as much as androids

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great sound, but not suitable for bedrooms. I bought this over the weekend, and the sound is lovely, but the Google Assistant seems to be at a fixed volume (that approaching the volume of a foghorn), regardless of whether you have the volume turned up for some music you have going, or not. As a bluetooth speaker, and as someone who sometimes has problems with the WiFi, it works quite well, sounds brilliant, and is convenient to pair with your phone with the NFC capabilities of the speaker. However, the speaker has a bothersome tendency to turn itself off if it can't connect to Wi-Fi after a certain amount of time, which loses some utility you might get out of it, since you can't hook it up to your phone to watch a movie or listen to music while waiting for the WiFi to come back up, without it deciding to switch off, apparently at random. As a speaker, it seems to sound best when the sound is turned up about half-way, and can get quite loud, to the point where I was worried about disturbing the neighbours or going deaf if I turned it up too high, so would still be audible from across the house, and would certainly be able to fill a decently-sized room with sound. The gesture controls of the speaker, however, can be really fiddly, and it can have trouble picking them up sometimes, or mis-reading which gestures you have used, which can be annoying when you're trying pause the music, and end up rewinding to the start, or skipping to the next track instead, or getting an earful of "I can't connect to the internet right now." if you're trying to listen to some quiet music before bed. The fine control of the speaker volume is a brilliant idea, and something that I wish other manufacturers would do with their speakers, as is being able to control the volume of the speaker using bluetooth. The clock on the front is a good idea, especially with the option to turn it off for people who aren't fond of it, but the loud volume of the smart part of the speaker, as well its tendency to turn off, forgetting what time it is (until it connects to WiFi), and needing to be turned back on by pushing an obscure button underneath the speaker which is misleadingly labeled 'restart' (it only turns the speaker on, it doesn't restart it unless the speaker switches off), although it suggests that the speaker be used as a bedside table clock, for which the loud volume of the assistant can be a bad idea, especially in the middle of the night, a problem which is compounded by how bad the sensitivity can be sometimes for the gestures, which are more or less the only way to control it. Overall, it's a decent speaker with quite a bit of kick to it. It has a few nice features, and if you tend to like your music a bit on the loud side, you will still be able to control it by voice quite easily, and won't have any problems with not being able to hear the Assistant in the device.
