Rated 4 out of 5 by from Honest and Simple Review If you are focusing on; - Graphics/ Audio = 10/10, Purchase the game. - Campaign = 6/10, Read multiple reviews (if not star wars fan), or purchase with low expectations even though there are some story Easter eggs. - Multiplayer = 8/10, Fun and thematic game play, but loot crates, no 2-player 'Online' split screen, not all planets (i.e. Kamino, Death Star 2, Kashyyyk/ 6 out of 11 planets available in arcade mode) or game modes (Star fighter assault) available for private custom matches, and tedious progression system ruins it. However, DLC is coming and is completely free, so purchase if you have the patience to play and hopefulness that multiplayer is improved efficiently.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing Good: campaign is decent , a little rushed but fun. Heroes are so much fun to play as, fighting with a lightsabre is so satisfying. Bad: bugs! Bugs are everywhere, the loot boxes bug out and I can't buy any with in game credit's. Character will freeze and I can't move for the rest off the match, I get disconnected with EA severs during or after every match. Loot boxes tied to progression: while EA has turned off purchasing loot boxes with real money you'll still grind for stuff that most of the time you won't even use. plus they'll probably just turn them back on when the heat has died off. I'm not having any fun as a literally can't play the game that I payed full price for. Probably going to get a refund.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not bad, not great. Battlefront II, also known as the great loot crate controversy of 2017, had potential to be a great Star Wars game. In it's present state however, it is not. Though EA is determined to push free updates to improve and expand the games online and offline content, it is perhaps too little too late. Also, if like me you were hoping for a campaign from the perspective of the Empire leading into the First Order, (you know, the one that was advertised in all the marketing?), prepare for about four missions of that before you predictably change sides for no real reason then spend most of the last half playing as Rebel hero characters instead of the main character.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from fun campaign: quite rushed with repetitive gameplay. however still fun. the story is very good apart from one major twist which was poorly written. overall 3.5/5 multiplayer: very very fun, and easy to get in to. if you don't do well enough to play heroes in galactic assault then heroes vs villains is an incredibly fun mode. i'd say 4 out of the 5 multiplayer modes are good with the 5th being average other details: poor leveling system which, to an extent has luck determine whether you get good leveling rewards. loot boxes are terrible. Requires a good PC to run well

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pay 2 win in a full priced game Encouraging gambling in kids as the progression system is through loot boxes that cost extra money. Don't be fooled by this blatant pay to win cash grab.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Some problems, overall good. I bought the game when it came out. It shipped in the mail and I loved it at the beginning, I was hyped about it and couldn't stop playing. Gaining hours in mere days. Only negative about this game was the slow progression system and how much you had to rely on crates, however recently they fixed the progression system. The Last Jedi DLC is perfect too. So much fun on the new maps and with the new costumes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Game In General, Just Some Small Issues Campaign could be a bit longer..but something is better than nothing! This happens in Australia because of our horrible internet, but sometimes it just lags, but that’s a given in Australia, even if you’re on NBN...I haven’t been really affected by all the Pay To Win controversies, and overall, this is much better than the first game, much more content (3x to be specific)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fantastic now that the progression is fixed its a fantastic game. no more microtranactions that effect gameplay, ONLY cosmetics
