    Who will change the future?

From the imagination of Wizarding World creator J.K. Rowling comes the Fantastic Beasts film series, magical adventures set before the time of Harry Potter.

At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne). But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for Harry Potter fans If you grew up reading Harry Potter, this film will contradict every consistency you learned about the wizarding world, because JK Rowling can't seem to let go and rewrites it as she sees fit, undoing lore and opening unnecessary plot holes. This film is and embarrassment of a narrative - the characters look like the one from the previous Fantastic Beasts but are completely different, acting opposite to what made you like them in the first place. Do not insult the Harry Potter fan in your life by gifting this abysmal film. Absolute waste of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this movie Really like this second movie in the series. Visual effects are astounding. Production is superb, but then I am a Harry Potter fan and do like this genre. You do need to listen carefully to the actors' voices as they often drop to a whisper. Very fond of this movie and it is great for those who are fans of this magical world.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Re: Grimwald I have watched all the Harry Potter movies. The Grimwald series is just as good and I enjoyed all the CGI, great acting and costumes and the magical beasts in the movie. I ejoyed this movie very much and will watch it several times with joy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Actually good Despite the controversy, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, displays incredible direction from, David Yates, spectacular cinematography, and brilliant acting from the cast. The plot of the film sort of sets up the franchise for the next three films.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enjoyable addition to HP I enjoyed the movie. Lots of good special effects and filled in some background to HP.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tedious Just as oblique & confusing as the first movie. Storyline is too drawn out & whole movie relies on CGI rather than acting.
