Our recruitment process

1. Apply online

Apply for a job that is of interest to you. Include a current resume outlining your skills and experience, and attach a customised cover letter. You'll receive an automated response acknowledging receipt of your application.

2. The hiring manager will review your application

The hiring manager will review your application in line with the skills and experience required for the job you have applied for. If we think you might be a good fit for us, a member of the JB team will contact you via telephone.

3. Telephone screen

When you meet our selection criteria, the next stop is for our hiring manager to give you a call. We'll ask you to talk through your experience and interests and why you'd like to work at JB.

4. Invited to an interview

Pending a successful phone screen, you'll be invited to attend a face-to-face interview with the hiring manager and possibly with another member of the management team. This may then lead to further interviews, and you will be notified of the time and location of your interview.

5. Authority to conduct pre-employment screening

You will be required to complete pre-employment screening forms so that JB can process a credit and criminal history check. JB undertakes not to disclose the information obtained through pre-employment screening to any parties outside of those involved in the pre-employment screening and employment process.

6. Reference checks

If your interview is successful, we'll complete reference checks with your most recent employers. We'll always ask your permission before we contact any of your references and please advise your referees that we will be contacting them.

7. Job offer

After the completion of successful reference checks, a congratulations will be in order and the hiring manager will make you a verbal offer of employment. Shortly after, you will then be provided with your employment paperwork.
