JB HI-FI & SAMSUNG WILL OFFSET 12 MONTHS OF CARBON EMISSIONS FROM THE ELECTRICITY USAGE OF YOUR NEW SAMSUNG 2021 QLED TV FOR YOU.
JB Hi-Fi and Samsung, in partnership with Carbon Neutral, will offset the first 12 months of carbon emissions from electricity usage on every newly purchased Samsung 2021 QLED TV purchased from JB Hi-Fi.[1] . The emissions from the electricity usage will be offset by trees planted in Carbon Neutral’s Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor in Western Australia (the largest biodiverse reforestation carbon sink in Australia) with approximately 450,000 new trees expected to be established, which will lead to an estimated 32,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions removed from the atmosphere over time. The newly planted trees will capture carbon from the atmosphere as they grow. Carbon Neutral is one of the longest standing carbon offset providers in Australia.
